The objective for which the institution was formed was to ensure that the courses help student to develop their skills and find positive attitudes toward work . The institute lays special emphasis on enterpreneurial skill to encourage granduants to venture into self-business.

About The School
The school started with six women under a tree and by dint of hard work the institute has grown to its present level. The institute trains girls with BECE background for three years in catering, fashion and Hairdressing leading to the National Vocational and Technical Institute (NVTI) certificates grades I and II.
It also trains girls with NVTI grade I and SSS graduates in Fashion and Catering for two years leading to the Catering 8121 and fashion 8831 certificates just as the Polytechnics. The school also teaches unexaminable subjects such as tie & dye/ batik, soap, powder and pomade making
Examination results are very encouraging and it is one of the best in the country. The school has a provision for boys and at the moment has one boy who has passed through the vocational course and is now in his first year of catering in the intermediate class.
The institute has trained thousands of students from the whole of West Africa. Some of the products of the institute have also founded the following institutes, Madjoub Educational centre all of Kumasi, Victory Girls at Koforidua, Nkawkaw Girls at Nkawkaw, Boateng Girls at Nsawam and many others.
